CALA invites you to engage with Vo’s most recent project developed during her residency. Her work explores matrilineal societies and the feminine through material and tension collapsing traditional hierarchies and inviting meaning to emerge through interaction.

In conversation with Sofia Dominguez, Samantha will reflect on the ideas, materials, travels, and relationships woven, both literally and conceptually into her newest body of work. 

At the end of the session, participants will have the opportunity to weave around one of Vo’s sculptural pieces, which will continue its journey as part of the traveling exhibition.
