CALA Alliance is proud to present its third exhibition catalogue, documenting Beneath the Breath of the Sun, a solo exhibition by Sarah Zapata. The exhibition, the culmination of Zapata’s residency with CALA Alliance, was on view at the ASU Art Museum from February 10 through July 24, 2024. This catalogue marks CALA Alliance’s fifth publication and is available in a limited edition of 100 copies. It features an introduction by Alana Hernandez, Senior Curator at the ASU Art Museum; essays by Raquel Gutiérrez and Sarah Zapata; a conversation between Hernandez and Zapata; and full-color, captioned images of each artwork from the exhibition.
