CALA Alliance is pleased to present the organization’s third catalogue which documents Luis Rivera Jimenez’s solo exhibition Luis Rivera Jimenez: A Brief Proposal on Race and Cultural Cosplay. The exhibition, a culmination of the artist's residency with CALA Alliance, was on view from August 19th to December 31st, 2023 at the ASU Art Museum.The catalogue is CALA Alliance's third publication and is printed in a limited edition of 100 (25 of which are available for purchase in the ASU Art Museum Gist Shop). The publication includes an introduction by CALA Alliance Executive Director & Curator Alana Hernandez, a round table discussion between Alana Hernandez, Luis Rivera Jimenez, and Gloria Martinez Granados, and captioned full-color images of each artwork in the exhibition.
