How I Became an Artista: Printmaking Workshop with Carolina Aranibar-Fernández and Agustin Vargas

  • Xico Arte y Cultura 829 North 1st Avenue Phoenix, AZ, 85003 United States (map)

How I Became an Artista has returned with our first Art Lab of the year! In partnership with Xico Arte y Cultura, join us at Xico on Friday, February 25 from 6:00–8:00 PM to explore the dynamic medium of printmaking. Workshop participants will learn from CALA’s most recent artist in residence, Carolina Aranibar-Fernández and teaching artist Agustin Vargas. Together Aranibar-Fernández and Vargas will teach community members about the historical legacies and contemporary practices of printmaking from the perspective of Latinx artists.

This program is free with registration and is offered at a limited capacity. CALA Alliance is carefully monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For the safety of our staff and community members, all participants will be required to wear masks for the duration of the workshop.

This program is now at capacity. Thank you for registering
