CALA Alliance is hiring a full-time Program Manager responsible for leading and executing CALA programs, including artist commissions, international residencies, performance series, and youth programs. The position will build on current program offerings to create strategies for engaging diverse audiences in experiencing and learning about Latinx and Latin American arts and culture. Call For Latinx Teaching Artists

How I Became an Artista is a cultural literacy program organized by CALA Alliance, Childsplay and ASU Art Museum that introduces elementary students in Metro Phoenix to the life and work of Latino/a and Latin American artists. Through reading, movement, and art-making, teaching artists in the visual and performing arts tell the story of how children become artistas who celebrate culture and make new traditions. (There are no openings at this time)
